Andy Menzies is an experienced Chief Revenue Officer, Board Advisor, & Mentor. Driven by an obsession for customer success, he takes pride in providing extraordinary leadership. As a CRO, his goals include Sales & Marketing execution, Customer Success, Indirect Channel Management and Delivery. In addition to his primary job functions, Andy has been recognized for his extraordinary commitment to team motivation, equality, & diversity in the workplace.
Andy’s commitment to excellence in the sales execution & process can be traced back to the 1990’s, where he spent significant time working on direct and indirect Go To Market for a UK Software start up. He joined as employee #4 in 1981 in a technical capacity and later went on to run Sales pre/post IPO, witnessing several acquisitions that fueled both organic and acquisitive growth over a 10 year period.
Andy has worked in the software industry for 42 years, gaining experience at Cognos, Businessobjects, SAP, Siebel & TIBCO. He has led sales at numerous VC funded startups & scale ups. Two examples, Apama & Streambase, were early pioneers in Complex Event Processing developed at both Cambridge and MIT respectively, and Andy led the field organizations where he successfully grew revenues in the Capital Markets by enabling algorithmic trading. He is committed to staff mentoring and helping shape individual’s careers, as he quite rightly states, ‘People are a firm’s greatest asset’.
An early contributor to the AI & ML space, Andy was the CRO at Rapidminer (now Altair) and also led sales for an AI driven Test Automation vendor Eggplant & more lately Provar – the Salesforce Test Automation leader.
